There will be parking at Chilton Fields but if you do live within walking distance, please walk as parking is fairly restricted.

THE MAIN EVENT, 6TH JUNE, RECREATION GROUND
There is no parking on the Recreation Ground. If you live within walking distance of the Rec we'd be grateful if you could walk to the event as the Town Centre carparks are likely to be extremely busy. If you need to drive and you know of a suitable alternative place to park, please park there and try and avoid the town centre carparks.

To get to the Recreation Ground from outside town:

Travelling down the A14 towards Ipswich, turn off at Stowmarket A1120 and at the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road turn right, go under the underpass, following the A1120 towards Stowmarket.

If travelling down the A14 in the opposite direction towards Bury, turn off at Stowmarket and at the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road turn left following the A1120 into Stowmarket.

Straight over the next roundabout (the Tesco's roundabout) continuing on the A1120 (it's the first exit, there is no left turn)

As you approach the next roundabout/traffic lights, get into the right hand lane otherwise you'll end up heading to Needham Market. Turn right heading into Stowmarket on the A1308.

Get into the right hand lane as you approach the next roundabout. Stay in the right hand lane as you go round the roundabout and take the third exit (Gipping Way - A1308) signposted "town centre."

From Gipping Way you should be able to identify the location of one of the carparks using the maps below (All carparks are free on a Sunday):

Milton Road

Regal

Iliffe Way

Bury Street

And once you're parked there should hopefully be no problem finding the Recreation Ground - just follow everyone else! However if you do need a bit of guidance, the MAP below shows it's location.
