StowFest: Free One day music festival launched in 2007 held at Stowmarket Recreation Ground. This year's event is on Sunday 6th June between 12pm and 7.45pm
StowFest: The Acoustic Sessions: New acoustic festival at Chilton Fields launching this year. Taking place on Saturday 5th June between 2pm and 11pm.
Stowmarket Festival: A new 11 day festival launching this year which will run from May 27th to June 6th and will feature various events and activities taking place around Stowmarket. Both StowFest and StowFest: The Acoustic Sessions are part of Stowmarket Festival.

We're extremely grateful to Hudson Signs and PPG who have agreed to jointly sponsor the Main Stage and the Amplitude Stage at this years StowFest and to Birse Civils who are sponsoring The Acoustic Sessions . And we are equally grateful to Old Newton Graphics who have offered their design services as a form of sponsorship. They are currently working on a redesign of the StowFest logo and a logo for Stowmarket Festival. They will also be designing theStowmarket Festival guide.

STOWFEST IS NOW PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER
The StowFest music day will be just one part of a much bigger festival in 2010. We're launching Stowmarket Festival that will will see all sorts of arts and entertainment events and activities taking place around the town between 27th May and 6th June.

STOWFEST NOW A TWO DAY MUSIC FESTIVAL!
Yes, that's right! StowFest 2010 will be a two day affair. We're holding StowFest: The Acoustic Sessions at Chilton Fields on Saturday 5th June - tentatively scheduled to run from 2pm to 10.30pm. It promises to be a fabulous addition to the festival featuring all sorts of top acoustic acts playing everything from foot stomping pop, rock and blues to mellow folk. If you're coming to Stowmarket from outside, why not book a hotel and stay over so you can take in both days!? For lovers of great music, both events will be worth catching. We have got some genuinely superb acts lined up.

WANT TO PLAY AT STOWFEST?
Places are incredibly limited for bands wanting to play at StowFest. There are only 9 slots on the main stage and a similar number at the acoustic sessions. We already have several acts lined up as well. However, bands are welcome to drop us an email via the "contact us" link in the menu if they're interested in playing as there may be places available. We also have links to other music festivals in the area so even if we are unable to fit you into our schedule, we may be able to help you to get a gig at another festival.

CHECK OUT HACHFEST!
There's many great music festivals around Suffolk but one we've had a bit of contact with and got a huge amount of respect for is Hachfest in Hacheston near Woodbridge. It's a bit different to StowFest in that it's over three days, it''s a charity fundraiser and features some pretty big names and therefore there's an entry fee. Ade Edmondson and his band played there last year! Their 2009 event raised an incredible £6000 for charity which is a great achievement. This years fest runs from Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August. Visit www.hachfest.co.uk for more information about the event.
