THANKS FOR COMING!
A big thankyou to everyone who turned out at StowFest on Sunday. It looked like it was going to be a washout at one point but fortunately the rain stopped and the sun came out and loads of people turned up! We hope you had a good time and maybe next year we will actually have a glorious day of continuous sushine. Although we're starting to think that even if we held StowFest in the middle of the Sahara Desert it would still rain!
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MOLOTOVS AND CAPITAL? Some of you may be wondering what happened to The Molotovs and Capital, the Fierce Panda Records acts who were scheduled to play at StowFest. Unfortunately, the guys were coming a long way to play at the event and we couldn't give assurances that it was going to go ahead so they understandably took the decision to wishdraw. I can't blame them as we'd have felt terrible if they'd come all the way to Stowmarket only to find we'd cancelled. Oh, and capital had a problem with their van as well which didn't help. Nevermind, we manged to tweak the schedule a bit and everything went well. We hope that Fierce Panda are keen to be involved again next year!
